The Rose Cottage bed-and-breakfast was absolutely amazing! The host's Victoria and Eric we're so sweet and made sure all of our needs were well looked after. Everything we ate was so good! (And this is coming from a gluten eater so that says a lot about the quality and taste, as I have gluten intolerant family members and I've never had anything that was as good as what Victoria and Eric served!). Our room was clean and felt like home, and the bed was super comfortable you could happily stay in it all day!! Relaxing in the hot tub and looking at the millions of stars was breathtaking and so relaxing. Words can't describe it, you just have to experience it for yourself. A short ten minute drive and you are downtown Tweed where everyone was is so friendly that you can literally stop and chat with almost anyone! Some cool sites to walk around and see as well as some waterfront you can explore. This is most definitely a destination we will visit again. It was just the heartwarming and relaxing experience that my wife and I needed! Thanks Victoria and Eric! Hope to see you again!

We had a one night stay in the clean guest unit with most of the amenities. There was also a hot tub outside which was new and clean however we didn't use it. The place is so peaceful. You could listen to the voice of nature without any noise. At night the sky is amazing full of stars as there is no light pollution in neighborhood. The stuff inside the unit was almost like the stuff you'll find in a hotel. There were also welcome drinks (water and coka) in the refrigerator for free. The hostess said she normally provide gluten free breakfast but at the time we were there, she had an appointment and could not serve it.

Rented this place for the weekend for a wedding I was going to. Honestly it was incredible. I don't know how. There's so many bad reviews on here doesn't make any sense. Our host was amazing she brought us fresh water everyday in bottles The hot tub was perfect highly recommend going here if you're looking for a place to stay

We had a wonderful New Year’s eve stay! Victoria was incredibly supportive and helpful to ensure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. She was very friendly, approachable and hospitable. The hot tub was also very warm, clean and maintained. The space itself was very thoughtfully designed and decorated to fit the theme. I would recommend staying here, I will definitely be back again!

Great spot for a Girl's weekend or a family getaway. Very peaceful and tranquil setting, with clean rooms and great amenities. Victoria is a fantastic host - make sure to get breakfast and order some cookies. You won't be disappointed. I can't recommend highly enough - we've already booked our next weekend getaway!

Warm welcome, helped with luggage. Very clean place. Lovely property with a hot tub! (Nice hot and clean water) everything that we needed was already placed. The host was very attentive to us, courteous and a pleasure to speak with. The cookies (3different types) were DELICIOUS! Came with a group of women ages 30-55years old. We were all comfortable and had a great time. Definitely will come back for a peaceful time with my partner. Beautiful views. And a delicious breakfast. Thanks Victoria for your warm and welcoming services.

I wanted to write a review here on top of my review I posted on Airbnb. Victoria’s place was absolutely perfect. I came here with my partner looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this place absolutely exceeded our standards. The Cabin was clean, fully stocked and beautifully decorated. Despite the space being attached to the main house, it was very private. The hot tub was perfect, especially after a nice day of hiking in the area. Victoria was incredibly helpful, very pleasant and super responsive for any concerns we had. After reading the one star reviews, i believe they’re totally misleading. A couple of them sounded like a group of entitled friends/family from all over Ontario that wanted to use this space as a large gathering. Victoria had a few basic rules set in place, which I understand why. The basic rules were: - no unapproved guests (this is a bed and breakfast, not the Holiday Inn. And we’re in a pandemic people, why is this such a difficult rule to disrespect) - close the hot tub after use (this is a no-brainer, it’s winter and that precious water needs to stay HOT) - quiet time at 10pm (again, this is a b&b, not the damn Holiday Inn) - don’t leave food outside (another no-brained, we heard a pack of wolves the second night) If you’re looking for a great space to recharge, and some peace and quiet, I definitely recommend Rose Cottage! We can’t wait to visit again, thanks Victoria!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s Airbnb! She warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough rundown of the property. Victoria is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. The Airbnb itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the charming cabin theme. It was a peaceful retreat, and we really enjoyed spending time outside, soaking in the stillness and tranquility of the land. We highly recommend booking this place for your next stay—everything was perfect, and we had no issues whatsoever with the space or the host.
